Trauma Intensives:
Deeper Healing, Faster Progress

Sometimes weekly therapy isn't enough β€” or it's just not the right fit for where you are right now. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to do deeper work, a therapy intensive may be exactly what you need.

Intensives are dedicated, multi-hour sessions designed around you and your goals. Rather than starting and stopping each week, we stay with the work β€” giving your nervous system, emotions, and insights the time and space to unfold fully.

How We Work Together

Β

Every intensive is fully customized to your needs. We begin with a consultation to clarify your goals and collaboratively design a structure that supports your unique process β€” including pacing, focus areas, and the modalities that will best support meaningful change.

I draw from a range of evidence-based and experiential approaches, including:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) β€” to reprocess traumatic memories and disrupted patterns stored in the nervous system
  • Psychodrama & Experiential Techniques β€” to bring healing out of your head and into the body through action, role, and relational work
  • Somatic & Nervous System-Based Work β€” to help regulate your body's stress response and restore a sense of safety
  • Mindfulness β€” to support presence, awareness, and integration throughout the process

An intensive allows us to dive deep into theΒ work β€” allowing your nervous system, emotions, and insights to unfold fully in real time. This concentrated approach often creates movement and integration that can take months to achieve in traditional weekly therapy.

Intensives are available in 2-hour, 3-hour, 4-hour, and full-day formats. Multi-day intensives are also available for deeper or more complex work. We'll determine together what makes the most sense for you.

Birth Traumas

I have a special passion for working with individuals navigating birth trauma, pregnancy loss, or difficult deliveries β€” including those who are anxious about an upcoming birth or overwhelmed after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic one.

Birth traumas include anything during pregnancy, labor, delivery, or postpartum that involves actual or perceived serious injury to the birthing person or infant, resulting in feelings of intense fear, loss of dignity, loss of control, helplessness, horror, or grief. They can impact anyone β€” including partners, doulas, midwives, doctors, and medical staff.

Whether you are looking to heal from a past birth trauma or preparing for an upcoming birth, EMDR can help you process and release what you've been carrying so you can more fully enjoy your parenting journey. Single-incident birth traumas can often be resolved in just one intensive session.
